Carrillo H-beam connecting rod, Hot Rods crankshaft, Diamond piston, ARP head studs, copper head gasket. Heavy-duty clutch and a lock-up clutch pressure plate manufactured by GP Engineering. Engine management is handled by a Haltech ECU, tuned by VKM motors. A weak transmission—specifically the 3rd gear—was previously a problem and a concern regarding power increases. This issue was resolved by installing a reinforced transmission, built with the help of US-based quad drag racers. The transmission gears underwent cryogenic hardening and nano-polishing.
