Volvo V70, 2004

Volvo V70 for sale (2004, manual gearbox). The car recently passed the technical inspection. Unfortunately, the timing belt fell off while driving, so the engine head needs to be repaired or replaced (currently non-running). Pros: • Technical inspection (TA) is valid for a very long time – until 2028-08-14 (passed on its own). • Refurbished steering rack. • New engine mounts (lower and torque rod) replaced a year ago. • Handbrake fully serviced before the technical inspection, brand new rear brake discs installed. • Xenon headlights. • Sunroof. Cons: • Broken timing belt (engine defect). • Interior is in "workhorse" condition, worn out, would need dry cleaning if it is to be driven. • The gear shift lever has some play (loose), but gears engage fine; power was excellent until the breakdown. • Rotted muffler heat shield removed (did not interfere with passing TA). I am selling the car as a whole, not parting it out. A great option for a mechanic or as a parts donor for another Volvo. Located in a village (viewing by prior arrangement), will need to be taken away by tow truck or towed. Price is negotiable within reason, considering the new parts installed.
