Well, what is there to say about a 2007 car. A car is a car, but there is definitely plenty to write, because this auto was loved and cared for, with a lot of money and time invested since it was done for personal use, though no one expects to get back what was given to her from the heart. So, briefly, or maybe not, but here is Her story. The little Volvo was bought last summer with an unclear sound from the engine, supposedly "nothing serious," and that "nothing serious" ended quickly—ding ding, engine kaput. Well, kaput is kaput. A new engine was bought from a Ford with 160k mileage; it was installed, belts were changed, injectors restored, and after the surgery, the heart beats like new (until now). When you press the pedal, it's hard to believe there are only 80kw there; it feels like at least 120kw. As for hunger, there's no question she doesn't have it—highway +- 5ltr, city +-7lt/100km. The technical inspection came up, a few things needed fixing, they were fixed—Technical inspection passed on its own +. After last harsh winter, having not been driven for a while (the owner was on a business trip), spring came, the guy took a drive and the clutch said its time had come too. Well, it came, the car isn't new, the mileage is what it is—the LUK kit was replaced (this was at +- 290,000 km mileage). But that's not all, since the Volvo was loved and everything was checked at the same time, the following were also replaced (hold on): * both drive shafts * all oils * all brake discs + pads + one rear caliper * various bushings and control arms * all springs * all shock absorbers In short, nearly 1k for parts + about the same for labor—painful, but what can you do, it wasn't for sale, it was for personal use. And since then, it has been enjoyed and driven until now. True, it was noticed that a drop of oil remains under the car after a night. Guess if anyone looked at it? Of course they did, they wanted to fix it (the rear crankshaft oil seal needs to be replaced, it's already bought), but life happened, and the beloved Volvo had to be left in the yard again due to work, this time for a long time. It was decided that maybe it's time to part ways, and while the owner isn't there, the heart won't ache as much during the separation. But he parts with a calm heart, hiding nothing, because he knows the next owner will enjoy the car and drive many more thousands of kilometers. He says, "I've changed and put so much into it that it shouldn't be considered a 2007, but a 2017" (laughs). So, if you are looking for a reliable, economical, and good car, this is the one.
