Volvo V50, 2006

This Volvo generation is built on the Volvo P1 platform, which is characterized by rigidity and stability on the road. The 1.6 l diesel unit is technically valued for its fuel economy parameters and suitability for daily use in mixed driving conditions. The car was brought to Lithuania from Germany, current mileage is 294 687 km. I have used the car myself for the last 10 years. I drove ~100 000 km. Main info about the car: - I have the full 10-year maintenance history (invoices) - Oil was changed every year (every ~10 000 km). The engine does not consume oil at all. Never needed to top it up. - The main timing belt and water pump were replaced 50 000 km ago. So there is still a remaining reserve of ~100 000 km. - In 2024-05 all 4 springs were replaced. - In 2024-05 oil and oil, air, fuel filters were replaced. - In 2023-12 a new battery was installed. - Glow plugs were replaced ~40 000 km ago. - Air conditioning and climate control work. I used to refill it every 2-3 years, meaning there are no major leaks in the system. - Tidy interior. A slight stain is visible on the rear seat in the photo, but it should be gone, I will clean it soon. - There is a full-size spare wheel in the trunk. - The engine starts well (e.g., I had no problems during the frosts last winter :). - Power and fuel consumption are in good order. - Bodywork is in very good condition for a car of this age. The front left fender has some rust. The right fender is clean, it was replaced this summer. The fender cost 100 EUR and replacement took 1 hour of DIY work. If you really want, you can "hunt down" and replace the left fender as well :) The condition of the body is visible in the photos. The underbody of the car is also in good condition, not "rotten". - Two original keys. Cons: - Rear tires are quite old, I recommend changing them before winter. The front ones could still serve for one season. Tires are all-season. - The electric window of the rear left door sometimes doesn't want to work. This happens rarely, but if it does, you need to wiggle the wire connector after opening the door and the window works again. Probably a poor contact, I never got around to taking it apart to check. - The floor mat on the driver's side is worn out. - I haven't noticed any other significant downsides or defects. The car is still being used and is fully prepared for further use. At this moment, no investments are needed. The price is minimally negotiable in person by the car.
