VW Tiguan Major engine service and preventative maintenance performed in December 2025 (approx. €1700 spent on repairs): – Fully reconditioned and tested engine head (new valves, seals, gaskets, bolts). – New timing belt kit with water pump installed. – Fuel injectors tested on a test bench and necessary repairs performed. – Preventative cleaning of the oil pan, oil strainer, and replacement of the oil pump hex drive shaft. – Entire intake system and intercooler fully cleaned. – Turbocharger oil feed pipe replaced and a new flexible exhaust bellow welded in. – New front suspension ball joints replaced. – All filters, new engine oil, coolant, and glow plug replaced. The car was well-maintained and not neglected, driven by a woman. After the work, a computer diagnostic and test drive were performed – the engine runs smoothly, without any errors or fluid leaks; the car is fully ready for use.
