Vehicle history and work performed - In 2020, the car was purchased with a mileage of 181,000 km. - After purchase, the main timing belt and the oil pump hex drive (hex shaft) under the oil pan were replaced. - 3 years ago, anti-corrosion underbody coating was applied. - At 208,000 km mileage, the gearbox oil was changed. - Before the technical inspection, the exhaust, front spring, front stabilizer, and other repair works were completed. The car passed the technical inspection on its own, though not on the first attempt – after the necessary repairs, the inspection was successfully completed. Equipment The equipment level is quite good for this year's VW Passat model. The uploaded photos and the listing details indicate the equipment included in the car. Additionally included: - Original head unit (the currently installed head unit sometimes freezes; perhaps an update would suffice). - Dashcam. - Additionally installed alarm system. Defects - The body is affected by rust. Significant investments were made in the car over the years of ownership, including anti-corrosion underbody coating 3 years ago, but body rust has still started to appear. Photos of the damage are uploaded to the listing. - According to the grandfather, an error would rarely occur – the glow plug symbol (coil) would start flashing on the dashboard, limiting the car's speed and acceleration. After turning the car off and on again, the problem would disappear. The service center recommended visiting when the error occurs, as they could not identify the fault during inspection. The cause of this fault has not been determined. The car is not new and has defects, but over the 6 years, it was maintained and repaired as needed.
