Nissan Primastar, 2005

Nissan Primastar 1.9 dCi 74 kW, 9 seats – a great work van that isn't ready for retirement yet. It has been with me since its first registration in Lithuania. It spent most of its Lithuanian life in the Ukmergė district, by the Siesartis river, working in the kayak rental business – transporting people. Anyone who has paddled with baidariuzygiai.lt might have even seen it in person. Since the bus always had to be ready to go during the season, it was regularly maintained and repaired at a service center. 9 seats, 1.9 dCi 74 kW, manual gearbox, tow bar, tinted rear windows. TA (MOT) until 2027-04. Mileage around 448,000 km. The front passenger seat currently installed is a double leather seat, but the original single seat is also available. I will include both. Over 21 years, it has naturally gathered some scars of life – I am not hiding them in the photos. The interior isn't museum-quality either: the vehicle was bought for work and did its job, however, it is far from looking like one used by construction workers. The engine has character traits typical for its age and mileage – it emits black smoke under acceleration and has some oil consumption. I suspect a tired injector might contribute to the smokiness, but I haven't done a serious diagnostic for it. It starts, drives, the power is normal, and it can continue to be used. I have been driving with these features for several years now. I am selling it not because the Primastar decided to give up – simply, after many seasons by the Siesartis, its place has been taken by a newer bus. In short: not new, not ideal, but a simple, spacious, and still functional 9-seat Primastar. Price – 4,200 €. Reasonable negotiations by the car.
